  • At Skin Avenue Aesthetics we offer Xeomin injections, Dysport injections, and Daxxify injections to improve the appearance of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. Some people refer to all of the different neurotoxins as Botox, when there are actually 5 different brands of “botox”. These FDA-approved anti-wrinkle injections target and relax specific facial muscles involved in the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. Relaxation of these muscles help soften and smooth skin’s texture while preventing new lines from forming. “Botox“ injections are an easy non-surgical way to reverse signs of aging. Our goal is to provide you with consistent results giving you a natural refreshed look without being over done!

    Clients can expect natural-looking results that can last for up to 3-4 months.

    Double Daxxify dosing is giving patients longer duration with their botox results! Some Clients are coming in twice a year for daxxify!

  • Result durations are as unique as the muscle groups of your face. Desirable effects typically last 3 months. Results are temporary, so we hope to see you on a regular maintenance schedule.

  • We inject the botox into specific muscle groups. Excessive pressure, movement, and heat can displace the botox away from desired muscle groups. To ensure optimal results, we instruct all clients to follow these basic instructions:

    -Sorry, no naps for 4 hours! We know this is hard! Please, also avoid tight fitting hats, sunglasses, and headbands.

    -Do not massage or apply pressure to the treatment area for 24 hours.

    -Do not exercise or use a sauna for 24 hours- easily done if you are a mom. Also, avoid hot showers and blow drying your hair for 4 hours.

    -Please avoid all spa day activities the day of your procedure. You should also avoid facial massages, microdermabrasion, laser treatments, and peels for at least 14 days post injections.

    -You may wash your face normally on the day of treatment, but please do not massage or use abrasive exfoliants or scrubs.

  • Effects may be seen as early as 3 days, but full effects peak on day 14.

  • Xeomin is unique to Botox in that its formula does not contain carrier proteins. Since these proteins have been removed, Xeomin is often referred to as the “naked” or “pure” neurotoxin.

  • The number of units required to achieve desirable results will vary from person to person. It will also depend on the area being treated, your lifestyle, and daily habits. As always, our consultations are complimentary and further assessment is needed to determine proper dosage.
