There is no need for clients to miss work, school, or other routine activities following a VI Peel treatment. The chemical peel will stay on the face for four hours following treatment.

Avoid prolonged sun exposure two weeks prior to receiving treatment. Do not wax your face one week prior to your treatment. Avoid retinol products for a minimum of 24 hours.

You will be sent home with post-treatment instructions, products, and the handy VI Peel app that will keep you on track with post-treatment care. The following day after treatment skin may feel dry, tight, and itchy. Days 3, 4, and 5 are typical days of peeling. Refrain from exercise for 72-96 hours after peel application.
As a rule, treat it like a sunburn: avoid sun exposure, avoid sweating and avoid heat.
Actives can be resumed once peeling has subsided and sensitivity has returned to normal. Usually day 7-10.
